You’ve shared some great ideas here, a lot of things that I picked up along the way of my own journey.
Working MyBlogLog can be very useful for building some backlinks, etc. Leave some comments for people in your niche, then start a little conversation. It will all build from there.
Also I’ve found that the bigger the niche, the better you can do with long-tail Google search terms.

I have read your article and it was good. I have found great tips which is gonna help not just newbie bloggers but those who have blogs as well. I do agree that blogroll can help a lot and you can gain traffic at it as long as the those site from your blogroll list is of the same category or niche as your site or content.

You gave good advice! I am tired of seeing people write put in the PLR garbage in order to try to make money from Adsense and they really don’t know anything about the topic or care.
I advise my clients to find their passion and write about what they know and love. If it is good content and people are looking for that kind of info, they will get traffic.

I think we can start blog by using blogger and word press first so that we can have a trial and error in it. Besides what we need to do is to have more content for our blog. If you have adsense yet it is much better to started out with blogger as the approval is much faster after you have already established some blogs you can have wordpress or get a domain of your own and hosting as well. What important is that you will give a lot of effort in blogging to make it more successful.

A blog with good content and up to date is a lot of work. Personnaly I am not ready to start one. I have a lot of ideas for articles but I think it will take too much time.
Even if I am sure it will be positive for my business.
