Do you have an interesting blog post? Why not present it in the forums and allow us access to it?

Dojo,
Anyone who follows the advice in your post should have no trouble at all alienating bloggers everywhere he goes! We can only hope no one will decide to follow it! Great satire!
Thanks for your visit to Writer’s Notes!

Lol!
….Okay, so I won’t be that mean, hehe. You’ve gotta at least give me credit for using extra exclamatory punctuation.
I definitely agree with some of your points. I used to think that any comment is better than nothing, but sometimes, I don’t understand why people even bother.

What’s even worse is when they spell things incorrectly and pretty much discredit themselves from sounding intelligent.

hmm….
… joking! Nice post. I would like to add - each and every comment counts and shows interactivity and networking among bloggers.

I’m feeling paranoid today-were you talking about me? lol. Oops.

Hi hi, no way
Nope, wasn’t talking about you, what would make you think that? You always had nice comments

One time I had a guy leave 5 comments in a row, each a partial line of one larger comment. I cut them all up and pieced them together to make one comment. I don’t know what the issue was, but it bugged me that it was messing up the prettiness of the blog.

hmmm…
j/k ..frankly I enjoyed the article. I thought it was coming from me. I agree 100% with you, because, real commenters worth the treasure to a site.

Great use of satire! Moderating comments can be a source of vexation, certainly. But how many of us can say we’ve been diligent about cleaning them up? Ramona seems to practice what she preaches! (in an unsatirical way, of course)!

Well what if that blogger really is an idiot and you just let him know about it ?
I don’t think that’s an insult or insulting in any way.

I know I was cheeky with my previous post. Please don’t hate me for doing that!
I just had recently a very similar problem in a forum, where there are hundreds of “Me too” and “Thanks!” nonsequitur comments.

And don’t forget, don’t use the comment form to contact the blogger about something that has nothing to do with the post!
