Looking good. Here's an idea. You could put in a user reputation system. That way it reflects the quality of posts that each user makes.

Im not sure how it works, and if there's nothing available, it'll be something worth creating.

If you look at a VBulletin system, you can add good or bad reputation points to a users post. This will then accumulate in the user's profile and will show whether the user has a good or bad reputation.

Yes, vBulliten uses the feature, and it can work well for members.

It's just a suggestion. Seeing as the user has no control over his own reputation (except to post well), it would allow people to gauge how good the advice that they receive is. An example of this is that you'd trust two people with high post counts and no reputation mod, but then with the reputation mod you would see that someone can have a high post count, but the user could have made alot of bad posts.

Just thinking, it probably runs along the lines of an average. If there's a scale of say 1 to 10, the way it could work is to take an average of all reputation votes. These could be stored in a global table (everyones votes regardless of who's reputation that they're improving, disproving), and the average could be worked out after all records with a specific userID are pulled from it.

The suggestion is indeed good. I'll see if I can find the time today, if not, on saturday I'll have another modding day

You could either have the reputation selector (for when someone votes) as a popup, or displayed in each post, with the users average reputation in the left hand column under the avatar.

You'd also need to think of a way to stop the user from altering his/her own reputation if they don't like the score lol.
