Would you use an illegal forum script?

I never have and I don't think I ever will... Mostly because I want to stay out of legal problems rather than for respect for those scrimp programmers/coders... They're such money grubbers! It's not like they were forced to develop those softwares, they did it out of passion. When you work on something you enjoy doing, it's not even as if you were working. If we all would use our skills for making the world better without expecting anything in return, such wonderful progress would follow...
Anyways, the only paid script I actually like is vBulletin. IPB is kind of annoying...

I won't deny that i'v thought about it for sure, being as i'm one who plays in that type of field getting my hands on a copy would be extremely easy. What it came down to was actually pretty simple, it wasn't worth it. Every script I could name had an open source counterpart, or a free version (phpLD). I rather use MyBB than vB any day of the week, what reason do I have to pirate a copy of vB? Would I use one? I suppose first you need to show me a "one of a kind" unique script with huge potential

i will say i wont use this kind of illegal stuff as this may take me to lots of problems. Its just there are still a lot of free stuffs available, so why choose the pirated one?

No I wouldn't do that. If you love your forum, you won't risk it all by using pirated script.

I've never even considered it, there are so many quality free forum scripts that it seems rather pointless to be honest.
