Since so many people talk about how good this script is, I thought I'd give it a try. So far I am displeased with it. I won't mention here the div only layout and the lack of an external CSS .. I have a bigger issue.
I cannot log in from IE. I don't have FF at work. So I am forced to use IE. And I cannot log it. It would let me log, but then I'm still logged out. And there's not a "always stay logged it" box to check or uncheck (depending on the place I surf from). Had to spend 1 hour 2 days ago to have a member log into the site until I told him to use FF. I agree that IE is crappy, but I need to have my members be able to log into the forums. So ... how do I tell myBB to "like" IE? |

Searching the MyBB support forums, it could be that you have incorrect cookie settings and use this site to tell you what your settings should be

Hi dojo! Im sorry you are unhappy with mybb. I had the same problems when I started my mybb forum and because of the cookies I was unable to login, but after that it was a piece of cake. I love it

The should have these options set by default (as in other scripts). many people would just freak out and uninstall. I do want to use it in 1-2 communities so that i have a fair amount of "diversity', but I am fast with uninstalling what I don't like

Well, in the install process it asks you to check your cookie settings
