The most importat features in IPB?

Many people pick up a paid forum since they think it's safer and it really has got more options than the default phpBB. What are the features that make people chose IPB?

It's not the easiest to hack (as in mods) but it's really user friendly, it's quite easy to install, and I think it looks better than VBulletin.

ipb is the most customizable and advanced forum.
Its admin panel is a dream for all admin's. And its forum options are so advanced that u can proudly say no website is more advanced then mine. But its also its main problem.
ipb is very resource hungry and also less search engine friendly

Interesting .. I have found it to be very hard to customize, as theme is concerned. I find phpBB to be the easiest, this is why I keep on using it.

But as the admin panel is concerned, IPB is a masterpiece indeed

I think that IPB's best feature has to be it's admin panel, although I have not seen vB's control panel, so I cannot compare it to that. But in my opinion, it is far better than phpBB's control panel.

I'd say the abilities of putting a user on moderated status or suspension of posting privileges. That way, its not a ban, but it's more likely than a warning to let em know that they need to behave.

over all i feel that the neat looks and ofcourse as stated by many the admin panel are the most attractive features..!!

wid phpBB u cant imagine so many features.. abt vBulletin.. neva used it so, NO COMMENTS!!!

I find that phpBB is hell to MOD without EasyMOD
