I hate it when people "break up", but something good might come from this. Has anyone tested the new script?

This happens a lot in software developing etc exspecially free software and apps etc. It is anoying most of the time but you never know that something good could come from this. Have to see if there are any good changes.

I think it happens all the time and in the "normal" world too. When people are working in teams sooner or later there will be some animosity and they'd break up. With a project that has developed as Mambo did, it was normal to have something like that.

Makes me once again glad I do everything myself. But yet, I couldn't do the things a team can do. Sometimes it takes more brains to come up with something as good as Mambo.

I don't know how the new script is compared to the other. I think I should download both and test a bit. I don't know when I'll have the chance. Anyway .. those who test Joomla are welcome to share their opinions.

I run a Joomla site, and i have to say it is fantastic. Adding modules, components or even templates is a doddle as you only have to browse to the zip file, and click upload and install, and Joomla does the rest for you!

The new version that's under development (version 1.5RC3) isn't all that great yet as it doesn't seem to let you do as much as the admin panel in 1.0.13 does.

I would recomend this CMS to anybody as it allows for incredibly rapid development and deployment.

I like Joomla over other large CMS's, but when it comes to blog software, I like wordpress too.
