I just have made my profile on Orkut few weeks ago and I have seen many people are trying to promote their products on Orkut.

Have you ever tried Orkut social networking site to promote your product or website? How can we use Orkut for branding?

Orkut and other social marketing websites are good for websites/product promotion but still you must go for relevant members there in order to get people who are really interested in your website/product else they will just take you as a spammer

It depends on what is your website content , whether it related to Brazil and India or not. As from wikipedia, i came to know that in Orkut maximum users are from Brazil and India.

No, I think facebook and digg are to promote you business rather than Orkut

Orkut not give me results what i am expecting.It helps a little but that is not sufficient to promote a site.I think twitter is the best one.You can get most of the genuine traffic on your site.
