Christian Family site

When I first found this forum I didn't realize it was mainly for forum designers. I am glad non webdesign related sites can be reviewed now. My site is a Christian site aimed at families.

Since I only know the basics the site is just that, basic. This is OK for me though. I want the site to be friendly to those with old computers and slow connections. It's not as nice looking as I would like but I'm still learning .

Recently I got the wild idea to add a blog style to the main page. I split the page and put the blog style on the left and kept some of the content and article links on the right.
I have been thinking that maybe it would be better to move the blog part to blogger or some site like that. Does that sound like a better idea?

The site, even if simple does look amazingly good. I'd have a slight issue with the buttons menu in the left, but it's not a huge problem. Since the entire site is using a minimalistic design, the buttons kinda stand out. But the colour is pleasant on them too and, as I said, I don't think it's an issue.

Thank you Dojo. The nav kinda bothers me as well. I too like the color I picked for it though and the nested links. I found it on a website and liked the customability. I have been thinking of changing to text links in the nav.

Thanks also for being attentive. I got so busy describing the site that I forgot to add the link. You found it in my sig. Sorry for the omission anyway. I tried to edit the post just now but I guess I waited too late. Anyway here it is again.

I am also having my web design career in the internet for last 2 years and so far, I have been inspired by many creative designs, and some of the designers in here are also very good. I m glad I could learn something from designers here.

Just saw your site tjjustleft and I like it. Looks simple but unique. I love the way you put up the christian way in your site.
